Kevin Yaryan is Senior Vice President of Investments for Equity Investment Services. He specializes in Retail Investments throughout the state of Florida and has an impressive track record of maximizing value for his clients. With nearly $300,000,000 of transactions to his credit, Kevin is highly knowledgeable about both Shopping Centers and NNN Properties and offers expert advice on how to add value to under-performing properties and achieve “Top of Market” prices for sellers.
Together, with the Equity Investment Services Team, Kevin’s goal is to help clients maximize the value of their properties “prior to sale” by helping clients put the right tenants and leases in place as well as optimize expenses and capital improvements to generate the highest possible Sales Price and/or Investment Return. And additionally, to assist buyers in creating a strategy to maximize the value of their Investment during their term of ownership.
Simply stated, Kevin’s goal is to assist clients in completing the real estate investment cycle of Buying, Adding Value, Earning a “Return on Investment” and then Selling… before repeating the cycle again.
Derek Francis is an Associate of Investment Sales for Equity Investment Services. He specializes in Retail Property Investments throughout the state of Florida and is focused on maximizing value for investors. Derek has an extensive background in business and offers specialized advice on how to add value to under-performing retail properties and how to position investments to achieve “Top of Market” sale prices.
Juan Jimenez, MSRE
Juan Jimenez is a senior associate at Equity Investment Services. Mr. Jimenez with his experience, work ethic and unique knowledge of the market effectively advises and serves his clients through their specific real estate needs. Mr. Jimenez is active in a broad range of activities including lease negotiations, sales transactions and financial analysis of investment properties. Additionally, Mr. Jimenez identifies strategic opportunities for his clients.
Prior to joining Equity Investment Services, Mr. Jimenez worked for over five years at NAI Realvest where he gained significant knowledge and experience early in his career. Mr. Jimenez was involved in 68 commercial real estate transactions totaling $57 million, quickly establishing his proficiency in the commercial real estate industry.
Previously, Mr. Jimenez worked for over three years with Orange County Government. In that role, he performed a variety of tasks that acquainted him with governmental procedures. Eventually Mr. Jimenez joined a consulting firm based in Orlando that provides governmental relations and business development services for large companies and small businesses. Mr. Jimenez co-founded a real estate investment company while in college and sold his first property when he was 20 years old. Mr. Jimenez is an active real estate investor.
Mr. Jimenez has lived in Florida for over 17 years. He currently lives and works in Orlando. Through his expertise of the Central Florida markets, he is able to assist clients with the acquisition and disposition of properties throughout these areas. Mr. Jimenez’s ability to find creative solutions to difficult challenges is what contributes to the success of his clients.

Leah Kovachev is the Transaction and Marketing Coordinator for Equity Investment Services. As Transaction Coordinator, Leah is responsible for assisting with escrow, creating timelines and corresponding with real estate agents, clients, escrow companies, and mortgage lenders during the closing process. Leah manages all steps in the process to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction.
As Marketing Coordinator, she creates and executes strategic marketing campaigns while maintaining all of Equity Investment Service’s property listings. She is also instrumental in planning and coordinating all areas of the business which includes brokerage, leasing, property management and advisory services. She ensures that each is run efficiently and with the highest level of client care.
In 2011, Leah graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
